Problems that are likely to arise during the production of die

  • 1 Convex and female molds are worn out.

    • The design of the punch and die gap processing is irrational.

    • The mold temperature is too high, usually because the production cycle is set quickly and the volume of material produced is large; 

    • The punch and die gap is usually designed to be 20%-25% of the material thickness; and 

    • The punch and die gap is usually designed to be 20%-25% of the material thickness. As a result, the mold temperature is extremely high.

    • The alignment of the upper and lower molds is not good, and the accuracy of the upper and lower worktables of the stamping equipment, as well as the accuracy of the mold's own guiding structure, does not meet the production requirements, which will easily result in the alignment of the upper and lower molds. Improper mold sharpening method, resulting in increased mold annealing wear as a result of the annealing process.

     

    2 Troubleshooting related causes of die casting mold tape issues

    1. Whether the design and processing of the convex and concave die gap is reasonable; if the die gap is unreasonable, it is easy to produce material banding;

    Aluminum die casting parts can be prevented from stripping materials in the following ways:

     

    1. Use an oblique edge structure instead of a flat edge structure. 

    2. Use a special punch with bullet top structure and anti-banding die on the mold.

    3. Install the return device instead of the flat edge structure. 

    4. Make necessary adjustments to the convexity and concavity. Die chasm;

    5. The die grinds the cutting edge on a regular basis to keep the cutting edge sharp and demagnetizes it on a regular basis.
